1. Overview



Welcome to Plunder Runners (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website — plunder-runners.com — or booking any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all site visitors, customers, and users. If you do not agree, please do not book or use our services.





2. Services We Provide



Plunder Runners offers:


  • Junk Removal & Hauling
  • Landscaping & Property Cleanup
  • Moving & Labor Assistance
  • Branded Merchandise (Apparel, Gear & Accessories)



We serve Upstate NY and surrounding areas.





3. Booking and Payment



  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
  • Deposits can be transferred to a new service date with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Remaining balances are due upon job completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards and other options displayed at checkout.
  • By booking or paying, you authorize Plunder Runners to charge your selected payment method for the agreed amount.






4. Cancellations and Rescheduling



  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • You may reschedule once with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Changes made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment may result in a rescheduling fee or forfeiture of deposit.
  • No-shows automatically forfeit deposits and may be refused future service.






5. Service Quotes and Additional Charges



All quotes are based on the information provided during booking. Final pricing may change if conditions differ from what was described. Adjustments may apply for:


  • Additional or hidden junk not mentioned during booking
  • Mold, mildew, or water damage
  • Rodents, roaches, or bug infestations
  • Hoarder or unsafe living conditions
  • Hazardous or biohazard materials (chemicals, sharps, human/animal waste, etc.)
  • Heavy or oversized items (pianos, safes, hot tubs, etc.)
  • Stairs, long carry distances, or limited access areas
  • Parking fees, tolls, or restricted entry zones
  • Appliances or fixtures requiring disconnection/reconnection of gas, water, or electrical lines



Any necessary adjustments will be discussed and approved before continuing service.





6. Access, Safety, and Site Conditions



  • The customer must provide safe, clear, and legal access to the property.
  • All pets must be secured and walkways cleared prior to arrival.
  • Plunder Runners reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or beyond the agreed scope.
  • Deposits are forfeited if service is refused for these reasons.
  • Customers are responsible for securing parking access for our trucks and crews.






7. Damage Disclaimer & Liability



Plunder Runners handles all property and items with care. However, due to the physical nature of junk removal, moving, and cleanup work, we are not responsible for certain types of damage, including but not limited to:


  • Pre-existing damage or deterioration
  • Water-damaged, rusted, or mold-compromised items
  • Unseen or internal structural weakness (walls, floors, furniture, etc.)
  • Old, brittle, or fragile items that break during normal handling
  • Damage from improperly installed fixtures or appliances
  • Appliance, plumbing, or gas line leaks resulting from disconnection or reconnection
  • Scratches, dents, or marks resulting from tight access or old finishes



Customers must ensure that all appliances are properly disconnected from utilities before service unless otherwise arranged in writing.


Plunder Runners shall not be held liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages under any circumstance.





8. Weather and Scheduling



  • Severe weather or unsafe travel conditions may require rescheduling.
  • Plunder Runners is not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen emergencies.
  • We will communicate promptly and reschedule at the earliest available time.






9. Photo & Video Documentation



To maintain transparency and proof of service completion, Plunder Runners may take before-and-after photos or videos of the job site.

These materials may be used for quality assurance, insurance, and promotional purposes, but personal identifiers or private areas will never be shared without consent.





10. Merchandise Sales



All merchandise and apparel sales are final.


  • No returns or refunds unless an item is defective or damaged upon delivery.
  • Customers must contact info@plunder-runners.com within 7 days with proof of damage.
  • If approved, a replacement or store credit may be issued.






11. Refusal of Service



Plunder Runners reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, harassment, or non-payment.

Deposits will not be refunded in such cases.





12. Dispute Resolution



In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact Plunder Runners directly at info@plunder-runners.com to attempt resolution.

If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, and handled in the county where services were rendered.





13. Intellectual Property



All logos, text, photos, graphics, and content on plunder-runners.com are the property of Plunder Runners and protected by copyright.

Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.





14. Privacy



Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect your personal information.





15. Changes to Terms



Plunder Runners reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting.

Continuing to use our services or website means you accept the revised Terms.
